Last Sunday I stood at my office window at lunchtime, reflecting on how quiet it was, and longing to see nature in action. A squirrel, a cardinal, everything was still and vacant. Then it happened...
My eyes came into focus as if staring at a 5-D picture. A red-tailed juvenile hawk popped out on the balcony-railing of the playhouse. How long had he been there? I laughed. With his back to me, he was camouflaged, blending in with the forest. How could I miss out on what was right before my very eyes? A hawk at lunch time is a good omen, over twenty years ago when one showed up in a picture, it changed my life 180-degrees.
Life is like that at times, we miss out on what's right before our eyes, wishing for something that is already there patiently waiting to grab our attention.
I looked up the symbolism of the red-tailed hawk in Animal-Wise. The keynote: visions, protection, adaptability
The red-tailed Hawk has tremendous eyesight, seeing 8-10 times better than humans. They bring a message to trust in our vision of things coming our way. The sky is the realm. Through its flight, it communicates to us and aligns us with the great creator Spirit. It opens our visionary abilities and stimulates new energy for our unique purposes in life. Follow your guiding vision. You will not miss opportunities. You will see them clearly, even if others do not. For you, the signs are clear now.
With spring swinging into full action, the volume of nature is turned up. What angel messages are coming your way to provide clarity and direction. It's a powerful time to tune in and listen for the guidance. You are more than you realize. You are spiritual and the best is yet to be.
"Open thou mine eyes, that I may behold wondrous things out of thy law." Psalm 119:18
